Mystery Stamp

The mystery stamp for August/07 was a birthday cake from Lost Angeles Rubber Works (LARW). I used a a white cardstock and repeatedly rubber stamped the words "Make a Wish" (Faerie Song Rubber Art Stamps) with ColorBox Petal Points Chalk stamp pad "Soft Pastels". Then brushed some of the colors over the whole card and put a slightly darker color on the edge of the card. Rubber stamped the same words on a piece of canary yellow cardstock and cut it out in an oval shape and attached it to the card with purple flower brads.  Rubber stamped the mystery stamp onto a piece of yellow cardstock and used 3D fabric paint in orange and purple to mimic thick luscious icing. White, yellow and orange for the candles. Used a yellow Sakura Souffle pen on the main cake areas. Cut out a purple star using a Coluzzle nested star template and glued my cake to it, then onto the card.
