ID: Chinese Mid Autumn Festival

I used Canson Mi-Teintes paper in a purple (aubergine) tone. I cut a square of autumn leaves scrapbook paper. Used an oriental rubber stamp of the word "Fall" (Prairie Rubber) and Dew Drops Pearlescent Crimson, first stamping onto a textured paper then onto a piece of pearlized paper getting this mottled effect (quite by accident) and then used my deckle edger . I punched out maples leaves from some light weight copper, scored the veins with a stylus, then held the copper over a flame to get the variegated colors, and glued them onto the page with Golden's heavy body gel medium

Back

On the back I used the same scrapbook paper and folded it down to meet in the center. Inside is a description of the holiday. Tied it closed with a thin wired ribbon and added my particulars.
