| Quotation DecoVl: Spread for
Rose
Size 8" w x 5" h (each folded section is approx 4"w x 5"h) Rose made an accordion folded booklet using Arches Text wove paper. I masked the shells, then put a layer of watercolors for the background in ochre and browns. I splattered paint to give a feeling of texture from sand. I used colored pencils for the seashells. From left to right Tropical Sea Urchin, Superb Gaza, Costate Cockle, Tiger Auger, & bottom left a Cowrie.
