I have to say right off the bat, that collage artwork is not my forte. I just can't seem to get excited about it. But this week's challenge is create with collage images, so...

I usually keep a tissue next to me when I'm painting with Twinkles H2o's and wipe my brush off onto it before changing colors.. Hence I get a pretty saturated tissue with all these wonderful colors merging. I open my tissues and dry them out, then collage them as a background. "I love those backgrounds". So that's what I started with for this challenge. I used a diluted mix of Golden's soft gel medium on black cardstock. Let that dry thoroughly. Used my Sizzix Xmas die set to punch out the boot from red velvet ribbon and from a piece of white cardstock, using a section of both to create my boot. Cut out images from a Ben Moss diamond catalogue that came in the mail. Used a scrap book paper for the letters to make "YES" (Quietfire Design - K&Co type Blocks). Then wrote in my words with a micron pen (Diamonds are a girl's best friend"
