Dec 23, 2008 - Patterned Paper "HB Card"
I have a ton of patterned papers, but I don't normally use them. I usually prefer making my own backgrounds and patterns. Just more personal. But since this week's CBH Challenge is to use some well this is the result. I went to a friend's house to play with our Cuttlebugs and I thought I'd combine both for this challenge, so before going I Zyroned some patterned papers to use with my Sizzix Alphabet stamps. I really like the results...

I used both the negative and positive portions of the alphabet punched out letters as well as tilting them for the background which added interest. I rounded the corners ont he card too. I then used a Sizzlets alphabet die for the "Happy Birthday" letters which I adhered to a dark purple cardstock then onto an aqua cardstock before adhering to the main card.
