Just got some new embossing folders "Winter Wonderland set and had to use the snowflake border one. Gorgeous... And it makes this a nice Xmas card too.

I smeared Distress pads onto my Teflon mat (Faded Jeans, Broken China & Dusty Concord) misted with water, misted my white cardstock as well and lay it down into the moisture, just slightly twisting it. Lifted it off and dried it. Ran through the Cuttelbug with the embossing folder. Kept the cardstock on the folder and brayered Perfect Medium over high points and embossed with Tanzanite (a beautiful purple tone). So my dry embossed design is slightly colored - tone on tone. Did a 2nd piece which I cut for the bottom of the card (the folder is only a 4 x 6 and my card is 7")

Stamped the sentiment (Quietfire Design), with Versafine Imperial Purple. Die cut the smallest star from the Spellbinder's star set with a layer of Sookwang tape. Sprinkled Stardust micro fine glitter and burnished well, adhered it to the card. Trimmed down my pieces and layered them to a deep purple cardstock. Tied a purple gauze purple dotted ribbon, and a silver metallic ribbon together. Adhered this layer to a pearlized white cardstock and then onto my main white card edge to edge.
