Createalicious #12 show some 3D |
I was in a mood to make a 3D flower, so colored a background paper with Distress stamp pads, sponging various pinks & purples & blues, then misting with water and drying. Then cut out a bunch of petals in 3 sizes using my Cricut. Used Chuck's largest bead roller to get a nice roll to each petal, then adhered them to half of a 1" circle, shifting the position on each layer. Finally added some ivory half Pearls in the center. Love the way it turned out. Also cut out the leaves from some scrap decorated paper and added some veins with a Tombow green marker. So the layers are a main white card. White cardstock sponged with Distress Spun Sugar and some Victorian Velvet, misted and dried, embossed with one of my newest folders, the Flourish design, Cuttlebug "Love is in the Air" set. Brayered the high points with Perfect Medium and embossed with Plum Pearl embossing powders - just gave a nice tone on tone shimmer. Die cut two scalloped edges using Tim's on the Edge die "Brackets" from 2 tones of purple cardstock, offsetting them onto the pink flourish piece. Rubber stamped the sentiment (Quietfire Design) with Perfect Medium and embossed with Queen's Gold, then highlighted with an Inkssentials white pen. Added some mini gold half pearls to the ends of the flourishes. |
