This weeks theme is "Back to School Days". Not too much I can do with that and still make it useful for me. Then I thought ok make it a birthday card or eventual birthday card. I can always add a number or subtract a number from the answer to suit whose ever birthday it is. The quote (Quietfire Design) suits too, with the crayons being for the "young" and then the answer "60" for maturity and then "you do the math" is definitely something for school.

I have this stencil (probably a Fiskar's) from eons ago with school images on it, these crayons being one of them and the scalloped border, so I thought I'd use it (first time too). So I used a sponging tool and Distress stamp pads in Mustard Seed, Fired Brick & Peeled Paint, first doing the crayons on the white cardstock, then the yellow border, then using the scallop in the opposite direction (you can see a hint of it in the bottom right hand corner of the card above, which I brought into the background area, looks like yellow but is really a greenish tint). Then I rubber stamped my quote with Versafine black onyx and then wrote my words and math thing with a Zig marker, then added Stickles red dots.
