"Alcohol Ink Ross" card I've been playing with alcohol ink s on some plastic (Grafix .007 thk Clear Craft Plastic) I bought and loving the results. This is one of them. Note, word and quote are both from Quietfire Design. I dropped Adirondack alcohol inks onto the plastic either straight from the bottle or onto a very tiny paintbrush so I could gently touch the preceding drop. I used Butterscotch, Carmel, Watermelon, Espresso, Pitch Black, Gold Metallic and blending solution. When I was happy with my splotching, I trimmed it to my card size. I ran a piece of white cardstock through my Cuttlebug with the Distressed Stripes embossing folder, burnished an area down for my word "Trust" and rubber stamped it with Versafine Black Onyx, then adhered my alcohol ink art (glossy side up artwork down) with four old copper style brads in the corners then adhered this to my main deep red textured card. Rubber stamped the quote with the black onto swirl patterned vellum and clear embossed it, mounted to card with Diamond Glaze. |
