I cut a piece of white cardstock in half length wise and folded both into thirds fitting one into the other. The folds open alternatively, so the front opens to the left, the next one opens to the right, then the left and so on.

I made a template for my window shape and then cut them out on each leaf making sure it matched the one above. I then colored the paper with Pan Pastels (didn't need fixative since I  wiped  and blended the color). On the fronts I used yellow greens and some ochre. On the undersides I used a reddish brown. The back background is a monoprint on paper towel of a very wet paper towel that I wipe my Twinkles brush on.

I outlined my windows and wrote in my words with a Zig marker. The flowers and dragonfly are punched out of decorated and embossed papers I made eons ago. I also added a piece of yellow toned vellum in the window on the front. The words on the inside background are some of my calligraphic Peel Off Sentiments.

NOTE: These and other Peel Offs are my calligraphic word sentiments on the "Elizabeth Craft Design" labels. There are 11 styles available at the moment with others coming out in the near future. They come in four different colors (gold, silver, black, and white); "Thank You", "It's a Boy, It's a Girl", "You're Invited", Congratulations", "Happy Birthday & "Love", "Friends", "Thinking of You", "Xmas Seasonal", "Xmas" & Happy Anniversary"
