"Valentine Card"  5"w x 7"h
I love Suzanne's (Quietfire Design) Flourish stamps so thought I'd use them for this challenge.

I rubber stamped the smaller flourish stamp using ranger's Resist stamp pad and Pan Pastels to color over the resist. I then trimmed the piece to the size I wanted (it sure beats trying to center something on a pre-cut piece of paper...) I then wrote the words "Happy Valentine's day" using a black Identipen and then over writing it with a Sanford Uniball gold pen. Cut out a piece of bright red cardstock and punched out the corners with a  heart corner punch. Rounded the edges to mimic the heart shapes.  I rubber stamped the main card with the other small flourish stamp with the resist stamp pad and colored with Pan Pastels. I ran a piece of white cardstock through my Cuttlebug using the heart block embossing plate. I then ran Brilliance Pearlescent Red stamp pad over the high points and clear embossed it. Cut out a nice sized strip and adhered it to the creased edge of my card. Mounted the first layer to the main card.
