"Snowflake" card
Size: 5"w x 7"h

Not sure what I'm going to do with this card. It's too thick to go through regular mail, so will have to be a hand given card, but I've given all  my Xmas cards for this year... so I guess it's for someone for next year.

I used my Cricut and a snowflake punch design. Cut 5 small ones and glued them together to make a 3D snowflake. Used a Squeeze and Roll glue pen on the edges of the snowflake and sprinkled Glitter Ritz Stardust micro fine glitter. Used the same snowflake design to cut an opening in my card, large enough for the snowflake to hang freely. I found the card became a little flimsy, so I cut the same snowflake from some decorated paper I made (see below) and layered it onto my card, edge to edge. Much better.

To decorate the front I used Kaleidacolor stamp pad "Blue Breeze" on my melt art mat, misted with water and smooshed my cardstock through it, then dried it. Rubber stamped the "Merry Christmas" snowflake images (Quietfire Design) using the same stamp pad. Rubber stamped the quote, also Quietfire Design, with Versafine "Black Onyx" and embossing with Holographic embossing powder. Attached my snowflake with a gold cord to the inside with a sticky shape Peel off star.

On the inside, I used one of the negative cut outs as a stencil and sponged Distress stamp pads Broken China & Faded Jeans and a bit of the darkest blue from the Kaleidacolor pad. It falls at the same point as the cut out on the front.
