"Love Quilt" card The quote on this card is such a nice warm quote. I just can't help making cards with quilts on them when I use it. Note all stamps are from Quietfire Design I started with white cardstock and rubber stamped the large and small butterflies all over half the sheet with Perfect Medium, then clear embossing it. Brayered Adirondack Dye Rainbow pad "Cabin Fever" over it, spritzed with water to merge the colors, heat dried, then ironed of the clear embossing between clean pieces of newsprint. Rubber stamped the butterflies over the original ones which are white now with Kaleidacolor "Birthstone". Gives a nice subtle white edge to the butterflies. For the other half of the white cardstock, I rubber stamped the heart flourish with Versafine Crimson Red and clear embossed. Brayered it with Autumn Sunset, removed the clear embossing as above. Cut 1.25 inch squares and mounted them to a peachy/pink Bazzill monochrom cardstock, keeping the spaces between the squares neat and equally spaced. Used a white Inkssentials pen to draw my faux stitching lines. Used my Cricut with some scrap alcohol background paper that was in similar tones, to cut out the word love using various fonts. Adhered them to the card. Rubber stamped the Quilt quote with Versafine "Blue Lagoon" and clear embossed it. Mounted this to a cream toned main card.
