| Cover for Mieke M: I used Arches Text Wove and a wet on wet method, using Color Wash (Butterscotch & Terra Cotta) and dropped a few blobs of pearlescent inks and then sprinkled with sea salt. My name was written with 3D paper effects in black. The mini frame is a black cardstock frame, clear embossed several times then mica chips dropped into the re-heated emboss and then re-clear-embossed. It's a technique I picked up at the 2005 Stamper's Celebration. I would have preferred using "frozen opals" but I haven't found them yet. |
