PP Challenge Over The Top - Triptych Squared (9 ATCs)

Created: July 26, 2010

This is something I call Triptych squared. I have never heard or seen or could even figure out what it might be called when you make a full page of 9 ATCs to trade as one. So I came up with my own name. Triptych (3) squared equals nine.

Now if you can see this as a full screen with all 9 ATCs at once, it really looks great. I will give Ann first dibs on getting this set, since she's the originator of this theme. Otherwise it will go to whomever really has something I really, really want. Big Grin

Well Ann gladly took this one, so needless to say it is UNAVAILABLE.

ID: OTT-Triptych Squared - Over The Top (unavailable)

All the letters were cut with my Cricut, the top and bottom from computer fonts, the word "the" hand drawn and scanned first.

The top and bottom row of letters were cut from Sookwang tape on white cardstock. Designs drawn or rubber stamped onto the release paper, then cut by hand, adding paper flowers and then Ritz Glitter Warm Highlights micro fine glitter. Half pearls or rhinestones were added as well. The letter "O" on the bottom row has hand drawn letters spelling the word "friendship" and colored with Tombow markers and a water brush. The Letter "P" , the design (Stamp it Australia "Flock" #3973D Micky Choo) was stamped onto the glitter with Vintage Sepia & Moss Green. Each of these letters were adhered to a Gesso/Tissue paper background (tutorial to come soon in my Nitty Gritty Gallery), Then mounted to a deep pink cardstock.

The center letters uses the negative cut out from the glitter cardstock. The glitter was colored with Ecoline Inks and water, dried thoroughly. Used a mask on the gesso/tissue paper background and rubber stamped the script words (Local King Rubber), then adhered the glitter layer. Added the white line around each letter with Ranger's Glossy Accents. Rubber stamped the butterflies (Stamp-it Australia set #010) with black. Traced the butterflies onto some scrap decorative paper, cut them out and adhered them to the ATC.
