These are the second batch of Triptychs. More on the witch/Halloween theme.

ID: OTT-Triptych- Witches (unavailable)

The background sky area is a gorgeous background I made ages ago and can't remember what I did... but it looks like it was done on heavy cardstock or watercolor paper, watercolors and salt. really nice pinks, and smokey tones. The backgrounds were mounted to black cardstock.

Houses and fence cut on my Cricut. The houses from black cardstock, embossed with Mesh embossing folder and brayered on the high points with perfect medium and embossed with gold. Windows were filled in with 3D fabric paint in a  yellow and a pearl white.

Fence was cut from Grungepaper, painted with Distress Crackle Pumice Stone and when dry, painted over again with white crackle and smeared.

Witch, cat and bat are Martha Stewart punches from black cardstock.

I then added a white half paper circle for the moon and put in some cloud wisps.

Words: When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs & whispers, 'this near Halloween.

I love this quote (although I didn't have room for the beginning of it "Double, Double...")

I cut out the witch's head and cauldron with my Cricut, drew in my linear details, then colored them in with Prisma colors.

Wrote the quote with a Micron black pen, then colored with Derwent watercolor pencils and a water brush. Mounted them to black cardstock.

Words: Eye of newt & toe of frog, wool of bat & tongue of dog adder's fork & blind worm's sting, lizard's leg and owlet's wing, for a charm of powerful trouble, like a hell broth boil and bubble. Shakespeare, Macbeth Act 4, Scene 1
