PP Challenge August 2008 Asian Haiku

Created: July 30, 2008

I rattled my brain thinking what makes me think of Asian and right away I thought of Haikus (along with a  few other things) which I really like. Not that good at them myself though, so searched the web for some that inspired me.

The writing is done with a quill nib and Moon Palace Sumi ink usually on some Pan Pastel decorated paper. I raided my stash of Oriental papers to cover my cardstock. Added some Peel Offs. Rubber stamped the Asian text with gold pigment ink and Queen's gold embossing powder.

The warrior is the only one done in Colored Pencils. I traced the image onto my card and colored away. Masked the face and rubber stamped the Asian text background.
