I used one of the hand decorated ATC background cardstock as a base.  I wrote the words with various colors of Sakura's glaze pens. I punched out circles from the yellowish paper looking for the interesting areas. I used Dr Martins iridescent pewter and a script nib for the linear decorations on the marbles. Glued them to my cardstock and then heavily coated them with Rangers Glossy Accents to give a glassy marble look & feel (PS the 1st time I did this the glossy coating cracked in various places lifting the paint underneath. The trick is to spray with a couple coats of crystal clear first, then coat with the glossy accent).

Words: Are marbles made from marble? ( a kids question)

Again I just used the ATC decorated background cardstock. I wrote the letters of the alphabet in a kid's style of printing using Dr Martin's iridescent copper and a script nib. Added my ribbon fringe to mimic a kids rug. Cut out my alphabet blocks from the small piece of pale green  paper, outlined the block shapes, added the letters, painted them with various colors of Dr martin's iridescent inks, shadowed the letters with a black micron pen.

Words spelt out by the blocks: Kid's Play
