I did a 4 page accordion fold with cardstock "Gold Parchment" and cut out the windows. Mounted it onto the beige tweedy cardstock. I punched out small maple leaves & oak leaves from the  bottom piece of alcohol designed paper and used "Peel Offs" alcohol based colored markers to paint the backsides of the leaves.  Glued them randomly to mimic falling leaves outside a window.  Wrote the quote with a black micron pen. Used one of the porcelain leaves which I painted with the alcohol markers and used my Dremel to cut a grove into the back to glue a piece of gold elastic ribbon which wraps around the card to keep it closed and winds around the maple leaf brad on the opposite side.

Words: The Colors of Autumn. Filling the sky with crimson and gold, leaves scatter without a sound. Carelessly dancing in the crisp autumn air, they gently cascade to the ground. Covering the earth like a warm blanket of brilliant color and beauty. The changing of the season beckons for all the world to see. Author unknown

I used the other two alcohol designed papers and cut them into thin strips. Wove them along with some of the red ribbon, then glued it all to a piece of Arches text wove which I painted with colored pencils. Cut out the large maple leaf and attached it to the card with some of the red ribbon.  The rectangle of paper I wrapped with some gold thread and glued it to the dark textured cardstock and threaded some of the beads onto the ribbon. Painted a couple of the porcelain leaves with gold leaf pen and glued them to the ribbon. Wrote the quote (Joanne made me aware of this quote) with an Excel gold gel pen.

Quote: Some people weave burlap into the fabric of our lives. Some weave gold thread. Both contribute to make the whole beautiful and unique. Anon
