This one is done on one of my "Exhilarating Paint
Day" backgrounds, where I was literally throwing the paint on my
substrate. I used the image from an African rubber stamp (unknown) and
hand drew it then painted it in with a black Pentel mini pocket brush.
Added the words using my thermal embossing technique with black embossing
powder. Mounted it onto black cardstock Quote: Dance to the beat of your own drum. |
See LD Design page for details. Mounted on Pink cardstock Quote: Art is not about thinking something up, it's the opposite, getting something down. Julia Cameron

I created a page of walnut colored words, swished water across it, dribbled some gold 3D fabric paint, then cut it into thin strips to create my woven pattern then glued it onto red cardstock then mounted onto yellow cardstock. Added a hand made tag with brown cardstock and a piece of pink toned vellum. Added the words with my thermal embossing technique & gold embossing powder. Quote: I am the fabric that I weave. |

Drew my violets onto watercolor paper, thermal embossed the outline with gold embossing powder, used bold colors to paint the flowers, then wrote my words with the same gold. Mounted on Purple cardstock Quote: Fortune Favors the Bold Virgil |
I used watercolor paper and Twinkles H20's for the background in bright orange/red and for the Kersal in purple, yellow & light orange. The Kersal and words are done with my thermal embossing technique with purple embossing powder. I used gold embossing powder for the 4 faux corner brads .Mounted on purple cardstock |
