I used Terrific Tape (Available at
Quietfire Design). It's heat resistant so is great for thermal embossing
and comes in various widths. I lay a piece of tape down the side of my
white cardstock and removed the release liner. (NOTE: I keep all my
discarded liners to back a new piece of tape when I want to punch things
out so my tape has a two sided release paper with the adhesive
sandwiched between). I punched out my alphabet letters and stars, and stuck them onto
the exposed tape and randomly on the untapped section (Do not remove
release paper). I used a stencil brush and Ranger's Perfect Pearls
(Blush, Rust & Green Patina) and smooshed my colors around. Removed
the release tape from the letters only and embossed them with gold
embossing powder. Then removed the release papers from the stars and
sprinkled silver sparkles. Wrote in my words with a Pentel Parallel pen
that had Sepia ink in it and double loaded it with Bombay Bright
Red. Mounted it onto orange cardstock
