The theme this month over at Paper Pastimes is "Birds". I was rummaging through my embossing folders and saw this Sizzix folder I recently bought and thought would be perfect for a few of them (Sizzix Birds, Flowers Branches set #656503) embossed onto white cardstock. The birds and leaves are basically a border element, and then I cut out ATC sized sections that pleased me. Used Mona Lisa Gold Leaf size and gold leaf to gild the embossed areas. I also used some Green variegated leaf for the linear border on the middle ATC. All quotes are from Quietfire Design and stamped with Versafine Spanish Moss and clear embossed. I then sponged some distress Crushed Olive or Forest Moss around the edges. These were then mounted to core'dinations "The Chocolate Box" cardstock dark brown on one side and when sanded the grassy apple green comes through. These ATC's also cover a few other challenges:
