I found this digital image on some
wrapping paper, scanned it and created a coloring page image. Colored with
Prisma colors, then cut it out. Punched out the Oriental type background with a Fiskars Greek border punch working on both sides. Used my Cricut to cut out the bird. Mounted everything to a nice deep rich blue and then onto a Bazzill Monochrome brownish toned cardstock. Wrote in my word Tranquil. |

| I just bought this wonderful acrylic paint by Eberhard Faber called Twin Color. This one is Green/Bronze. I embossed the Cuttlebug bird image onto white cardsotck. Painted with the acrylic paint, let dry, sanded the high points. Die cut with a Spellbinder's Oval die and then a larger one from some white cardstock and sponged the edges with pinks. Mounted to a deep brown cardstock, then added Soufflé pink dots. |

I found this bird on chair image and
cut it out with my Cricut. Cut out the cushion portion from some scarps
on my desk. Embossed the bird to make it stand out a bit more. Punched
the cat out of black cardstock (Martha Stewart punch). Embossed the backgrounds with Cuttlebug folders, mounted them both to black textured cardstock. Worte in my words with a micron pen. |
